Last night: I went to work from 5 til close and then had thold mom and dad that I’d be at Paula’s after work staying the night. On my way to work I called mom and told her that was my plan and she was really skeptical. Saying if I called Paula’s parents they would know? And being all paranoid. Tuesday

Pretty good day!

School, normal, was sick yesterday, didn’t miss much. After school, went on myspace and talked to Kyle. He wanted to hang out. So, I went and picked him up. Told mom I was going to Wal-Mart. I took him to his friend Corey’s house (he’s cute) and they smoked. Oh joy. I left after like half an hour to go to Famous Dave’s to have dinner with Delia. It was good, we talked about a ton of stuff. A good hour and a half. Then I came home, picked up the camera and went to the volleyball game to take pictures for yearbook with Rayla. That was fun. Came home, sat on Facebook and then attempted homework, decided against it. so yeahh. That was my day. Kind of different to see Kyle again. He gave me a hug before I left and said he’ll call me on Thursday, so we’ll see. I kind of want to hang with Derek, but whatever. I don’t have feelings for Kyle, at all. I think I might have some for Derek, and that’s good? And bad. I don’t know. When I hung out with Derek on Sunday, I got wet on my sweatshirt from him and it looked like a smiley face. It was funny. And his friend Jimmy was there and was whistling at us while we were making out by the tree fort Eddie showed me years ago. Dereks like, “he could join us if you want.” I thought that’d be weird. Present day me: I remember the time with Derek and Jimmy and not so much seeing Kyle. I think I just was really keen on being out of the house for any reason and hanging out with whomever was available. I’m glad my friendship with Delia stayed so intact throughout this time. It’s kind of cringe to reread my old sexual shenanigans but it’s also cathartic in a way.

Sunday

Yesterday! -> went out to eat with Tabitha and Ashley. It was really good. Ashley took us back to my house. I grabbed my stuff, and we met Delia at Starbucks. We rant over to Shopko for ribbon and then to Tabitha’s house for her stuff and my place for her wallet she left. Then we went to Grace’s to get ready. Delia did my hair and make-up. We were all so pretty! We went to Katie’s for pictures and then Green Mill! We took more pictures at Green Mill, ate, and then went to the dance. I pretty much hung out with Tabitha and Delia. The dance was lame. The three of us decided to leave around 10:30. So I could take Delia to Katie’s to get her stuff, went to sonic, we were really hyper, we sat there for like an hour and then came back here. Stayed up a while longer and slept. I was texting with Derek at Sonic and until I went to sleep. This morning they left right away. I uploaded pictures and chilled out. Called Rhonda – walked around – met up with Derek and his friend Jimmy. We went in the woods at the end of my street and fooled around. I didn’t let him in my pants because it started raining in Ecuador today. So I came home, and just been chillen out. Going to team member night with Delia later.

Present day me: The term raining in Ecuador is a phrase my friends and I used to mean it was our time of the month. This was a fun memory to relive because it was right around the time when I was stressed about my work friends and still able to hang out with my school friends.

Labor Day

Monday

Yesterday I worked for 8 more hours. I had my pm break with Hunter but luckily Aimee showed up at 1 and I told her to take her break with me at 3. So we talked about my summer happenings and she knows Aaron and Tori because she’s a senior at their school. So I got out at 6 and mom picked me up and brought me to the cabin, Oma, Opa, Uncle Pat, Aunt Blanche, Phoebe and Ryan were here. It was awkward. Most boring thing ever! Anyway, I might buy Delia’s mom’s laptop for $250. So that would be sweet! I don’t know what else to write. School tomorrow. Not excited, started raining in Ecuador today. Great. Oh well, it had to come sometime. I can’t believe it’s only been a month since I started fooling around with Derek. Hehe. And the other night was probably the best. Even though his breath smelt so bad after, and he said I tasted good, so that’s weird to think about. But kind of cool that it happened. If I was 18 I’d have sex with him. Oh well! One more year, but let’s hope I won’t be fooling around with him still in a year. Well I guess that’s it. More later!

Monday

Sat around all day. Went to work at 5. I was assigned to donations. Who was there? Kyle, Derek, and Hunter. Wow, right? I talked with Kyle. We took break together. Made out a little. Thursday

Last night: texted with Derek.

We asked each other questions. I asked him what he thinks of me and he said, “I think you’re an intelligent, funny, beautiful young woman who’ll make a man happy someday.” I answered the same question for him and then I asked him if he liked me…more than a friend, he said, “Truth be told…yes…but you like Hunter so I know I’ve got no chance.” So that was my night. Today I talked with Rhonda on the phone and went to work and saw Hunter for like two seconds. I closed with Hilly, Gil, Sabrina, Mildred and Ethel. We actually got out on time! Gil and I were flirting after we closed, and he was kind of following me around the store. Hilly was teasing me saying there was a romance happening. Yeah right. So yeah. Came home, called Hunter on my way home. We might hang out on Sunday, depends on when we get back home from the cities. I don’t really want to go, but oh well. I guess I’ll keep texting Derek and try to get on the computer.

Went to work. Found out almost everyone knows about me and Hunter. Hunter called me after work. 😊 it was a better conversation than the last one. We might hang out either Saturday or Sunday maybe see the fireworks! Then I hung out with Eric and Taylor, went to Perkin’s and came home at 1am. That’s about it. I guess this weekend will be good Uncle Charlie and Aunt Ivy and other family friends are coming to the cabin, so it’ll be good to see all of them again. And yeah, not much to write for today so I’ll go to bed. G’night!

Saturday

Worked with Hunter. Got his number!

We had break together all three times today. In the morning he asked me if I was in a relationship, I said no. and we traded numbers. He doesn’t have a cell phone, so I have his home number. We didn’t talk much because there were other people there, but we talked in the afternoon one. He went to Germany and he is in college. He guessed that I was a junior and yeah, he is so shy though… Mom and dad basically say he’s a creeper because of what he does in his free time: play with his dog, read and hang out with friends. He doesn’t have a Facebook or myspace. And has never heard of fmylife.com soooo I work with him again tomorrow, so we’ll see what happens. It’s so amazing he feels the same way as I do. 😊 so, I’m hoping things go smooth and he calls me sometime. 😊

Sunday

Went to work from 11-6:30. Longest day ever! So I had break with Derek, and he told me “You’ve got it going on,” so… I’m thinking that he likes me, because he kept flirting with me all day and asking me if I had any plans for the summer and what I was doing after work. When he found out I was working til close he was happy. So yeah on the way home, I followed him home. Turns out he lives on a street in my neighborhood, at least that’s where he went after work today. Hehe so I drove past on my way back from Burger King and saw him outside. Oh! And there was a guy that left me a note with his number to call or text him, he gave the note to Shirley while I was out on the floor, I guess he was in his 20’s. Tara told me about it while we were counting my drawer. He didn’t look creepy, just was a creeper for writing a note and not coming up to me. So yeah, that was my day. Now off to bed. G’night!

Present day me: I remember Tara telling me about this note a guy left for me and I didn’t even receive the note because they made the decision that a 16 year old shouldn’t be connected with someone in their 20’s. Looking back on it I’m relieved and grateful they helped me out like that but at the time I was disappointed because I was loving all the attention I could get from other guys.

Went to work – Hunter was there 😊

We had our lunch break together 😊 and I talked to him! 😊

I asked him if he works tomorrow and what time he works til today. He seemed kind of surprised that I walked to him, but I think that was good. At least I’m hoping. He doesn’t work tomorrow but that’s okay.

After work mom made me come up to the cabin and after I did the dishes and walked down the street to check facebook and Aaron drove past, he stopped and we talked for a bit. I told him I got a job and he gave me his cell number, so yeah. I texted him to see if I got the number right but he hasn’t texted me back so I don’t know. I just hope things move along with this Hunter fella. Hopefully, or else I meet someone….?

A both Rhonda and Delia are going out of town this whole week. ☹ who am I going to hang out with? I guess I could call Tabitha, I haven’t hung out with her in a while. Well I have to leave here at 8am so, g’night!

Present day me: At this point the cabin didn’t have internet so I had to find free wifi down the street with my ipod touch. I also remember not being as close with Tabitha at this point as we were in middle school. Also, being around guys who I used to crush on and then just feel platonic about was kind of cool for 16 year old me.
