Last night: I went to work from 5 til close and then had thold mom and dad that I’d be at Paula’s after work staying the night. On my way to work I called mom and told her that was my plan and she was really skeptical. Saying if I called Paula’s parents they would know? And being all paranoid. So at about 8:45 Paula walked into the store and said mom had called her dad and he didn’t know about me staing over so Paula’s dad called Paula telling her to call my mom. Friday

Had a normal day at school, came home, went to the bank, then bought new shoes – some green and pink DCs! They’re pretty sweet. Then I came back home, shaved my legs and cleaned out my car and then met Delia at Blockbuster. We rented Scary Movie 4 and Drag Me To Hell. They were both pretty funny. We ate Papa Murphy’s pizza and just talked for a little bit too. I had told her I had to be home by 10, so I left and went to Kwik Trip to get some candy to make myself hyper. I bought cherry sours and ate just one. And then Derek showed up. We drove to a park and fooled around in the back of my car. It lasted 12 minutes. Holy fricken cow. Yeah. He went in my pants, I came. :p and he came of course. and yeah. We walked around and then I drove back to Kwik Trip and dropped him off. I went to the bathroom to check myself, I looked fine, but there was some darkness in my blue panties. He said he liked my panties too. So yeah. It was good to hang out with him again. He’s so hot. Great day! Didn’t have school!

I had to work last night, so after work I came up to the cabin and texted with Derek until I went to sleep. This morning I told mom I was being picked up by Delia at 11, so I took Meryl home and then went over to Derek’s. Then came home, packed, picked up Meryl and the cats and came back up to the lake. Aaron was having a bonfire and called me to invite us but instead we hung out in the street, Eddie threw an ice cube at the cars, and I guess made a dent, but whatever. That’s it! G’night!

Present day me: I remember seeing Zombieland with everyone and having a great time. Also, having more fun with Derek is a little cringe to revisit but still helpful in looking back on my past.

Friday

Last night went to night games after work, stayed at Kayla’s with Delia, we stayed up til 4am watching He’s Just Not That Into You.

Today went to the bank and then hung out with Delia, at dinner at Famous Dave’s and had poker night, took pictures and hung out. Came home and have to go to work tomorrow with Hunter! 😊Yay! Let’s hope we have break together because we work the same hours.

This past Friday I went to see Twilight with Hannah! It was a lot of fun. Good movie! Edward got hotter through out the movie. But I don’t think Kristin Stewart did that great of a job. She wasn’t really enthusiastic as Bella. But it was good, I want to watch it again! Saturday morning I had my last drive time, and it went well! And I babysat last night and made $30! Today stayed home, finished scrapbooking my pictures from summer, cleaned out the car, and chilled out. That’s pretty much it.

Present day me: Yes, I loved Twilight and all the movies and all of the books. Read the books twice I think. I don’t plan to read them as an adult. As of now, anyway.

So today dad woke me up by kicking at my leg at 7:30 in the morning. We had to go over to Uncle Charlie and Aunt Ivy’s house for the after-the-golf-outing-breakfast. We talked about the outing and how everything went and then drove home.

Woke up at Uncle Charlie and Aunt Ivy’s house. Mom, Aunt Ivy and Meryl and I went to the new Cabela’s store. Mom wanted to buy some chocolate covered espresso beans. We went out for lunch at cousins subs. Then went back to their house. Dad, Uncle Charlie and I played a few games of cribbage. Then we left to go to the Phillips’. I got to drive Aunt Ivy over there, because the kids and moms were going to the fair. So, we get there and Meryl and I just walk around the fair and people watch. We don’t know anyone there. So, I text Topanga and tell her we’re at the fair and she should come and hang out with us. So, she shows up and I walk around the park with her and she tells me pretty much all about her life. We probably walked a total of three miles. Then we met up with mom and everyone and went on some rides. That was really fun! We went on a giant swing and then a ride like the screaming eagle at MOA. Then the tilt o whirl. It was really cool to hang out with Topanga again. We walk over by the stage and listen to the band play a few songs then walk around some more and leave. When we were in the van on the way home, I let Meryl listen to a voicemail I got the night before, it sounded like Gayle left it. But it was a private number. Linda asked me what we were listening to, and I told her someone had prank called me last night and I couldn’t understand what they were saying. I looked at Gayle as I said that and she was smiling really big, so I’m pretty sure it was her. So, we get back to the Phillips’ and have some food. We talked for a little while and then went to bed. Meryl and I slept on the floor in Linda’s room. Neither Gayle or Linda slept in the same room as us.

Pretty much watched movies all day. After the parents went to the fair to see COLLECTIVE SOUL! Gayle asked us three girls if we’d want to bike into town to go to the coffee corner. Another girl from the neighborhood came with too. So, we bike into town and on the way in Gayle and this girl bike over to Bailey’s house to have her come too. So, me, Linda, and Meryl just go straight to the coffee place. They show up and all order smoothies. And Meryl and I didn’t order anything. I wanted to bike over to our old neighborhood where we used to live. So, the three of us went and biked over the hill to the park and hung out there for a while. Then biked to a gas station to get some band aids because Meryl cut her foot while we were there. Dad called me and let me listen to SHINE by Collective Soul. It was really awesome. It was wavy and tinny sounding. But still cool to listen to them live. So, we bike back to their house and want to go swimming. So, we all get our suits on except Gayle. And we’re standing in the kitchen, Gayle tells us her grandma said we can’t go swimming because we’ll get overheated or a leg cramp. What kind of bullshit is that? Just Gayle being in control. So, we change into our pjs and decide to run around outside. But Gayle escapes to the neighbor girl’s house right after she said we’ll all play night games. We go over there and try to get them to come out, but they come back to Gayle’s house and sit inside, so us kids are like, messing with them through the window.

Well, we just end up watching Fool’s Gold. The neighbor girl never said one word while I was around her. And every time I looked at her she looked like she was about to cry. So, we watch the movie and go to bed. Linda ended up sleeping in her room with us so that was good.

Golf Outing Day!

Got up at 6am, way too early for me! I almost fell asleep while I was taking a shower. Got ready and dad took us three kids to burger king for breakfast. We got to the golf course and basically Meryl and I hung out together and took some pictures. My camera broke again so we had to use Meryl’s which only held about 15 photos. So, after everyone golfed and ate dinner/lunch and did the raffle prizes. I won a free 18 hole for 4 players certificate and traded for a bag ball game. After the raffle prizes were done dad drove us three back to the Phillips. Linda and their grandma were the only one’s there. So, I pretty much watched tv for the rest of the night, I was so tired. At about 11 I decided to go to bed, so I laid down and took my phone out to check for any new stuff. And there was a new voicemail from a private number. They said their name was Michael and they saw my myspace picture and thought we should go out. He gave me his number, so I texted it. Found out that he’s the guy Gayle likes – and I’m pretty sure she set him up to it. Even though when she got home, she told me she didn’t do it. But whatever. If I get another “private” call again I’m calling the police or I’m going to make Tabitha send her a mean text message. G’night!

Present day me: This was definitely a buried memory until I read this entry again. Wow. Getting creepy voicemails from a private number was how people pranked each other back then! Also, it was really cool to read about hanging out with Topanga. My family lived in this town where Gayle and Linda live. We moved a few hours away and would come back and visit a few times a year. Topanga was one of my first friends of my life.

Dream from last night.

Hannah was having a party, but it was up at my cabin. Aaron was over (of course) and it was winter out. The layout of the cabin was different though. So, I guess all we did at the party was lounge around in my room and have a treasure hunt with everyone. It was kind of cool. Then I had a dream that I was hanging out in my room here in town and I hear my dad come home and yell up the stairs, “Gram’s is here!” and I rushed down the stairs and saw her wearing the same outfit that she was wearing in the picture that I have of her on my whiteboard. So, I give her a big hug and tell her about my life.

So yesterday I went to see Definitely, Maybe with Rhonda at 1:30 and that ended around 4. We walked around the mall until Delia, Beth, Hannah and Tabitha were coming. So, they got there and we hung out til about 6. Then Hannah and Rhonda had to leave so it was just the four of us. We went to Deb and tried on dresses. Then we went to Inside Scoop and bought candy because we went to see the movie 27 Dresses! So I saw two movies in one day! They were both really really good! After 27 Dresses we went home. Tabitha gave me a ride home. Then today I played DDR a few times and just hung out. It was relaxing. G’night!

Present day me: I remember this being quite an awesome thing! To be able to see two movies at the same theater in one day, with different friends! I also remember having that dream about Gram. I still miss her very much. I believe when a soul that’s passed shows up in one of my dreams that is their way of connecting with me again. This was my first dream with her in it since her passing. I gave her the biggest hug I could when I reached her!

Sunday

Just laying in bed thinking about my weekend. It was overall good. Friday, early evening kind of got me pissed but only a little bit. Paula and I walked down to the boat landing and called Aaron. I asked him what he was doing, and he said, “just taking care of a friend. He puked on the bus.” I said, “Oh, well Paula and I are down at the boat landing if you’d want to come down.” He said sure he’d come down on his atv. So, he showed up along with Austin and Spencer. We really didn’t talk to him, the three guys talked and then me and Paula talked. It was kind of weird, and since they had the atv they decided to get a knee board and drag each other around the lake. And me and Paula just stood there and looked at each other every so often. Very weird. We ended up getting cold and we walked back, the guys went up ahead of us. So, I was like fuming at Paula and I stomped my feet and screamed. It echoed but the guys wouldn’t be able to hear it because they had a loud motor.

So, Paula and I walked inside and took pictures and watched movies, drank mountain dew and just hung out. At one time her phone rang, and it was Spencer’s dad (he had used her phone while we were at the boat landing) and he asked us if we knew where Spencer was, we said no, but he told us to let Spencer know his dad called and to give him a jingle. Weird. Yeah, so that was pretty much Friday night.

Saturday was got up, ate breakfast, took showers and kind of just sat around for a little while, then decided to take a walk into town. We walked to the gas station, a few miles away, and Paula found a stuffed dog for Hannah’s present. We walked back and wanted to take a nap, but Eddie asked us if we wanted to play Life, so we played that. After, we went through my ipod songs to make a list for the party. And then we got ready and called Aaron. My mom ended up driving us.

When we got to the roller skating place I could hear everyone inside see us coming and asking “Is that Aaron?” haha. We got there and just kind of walked around and Aaron stuck with me most of the time, which was good. 😊 He did know other people there like Rhonda and Delia. We were standing in a circle with me, Aaron, Rhonda, Amy, and Paula. Paula says to Aaron, “Your shoe is untied.” Me and Rhonda burst out laughing. Aaron, I bet rolled his eyes at another one of our inside jokes. That was one of the funniest things of the night. And I could tell Aaron was looking at me most of the time. Which is very good. 😊 Anyway, we just kept talking about stuff and when it was time to go, we were doing that whole hugging thing, when everyone hugs saying goodbye. And Aaron hugged Hannah twice!! I didn’t get to hug him. So, we get into the van and this time me and him talk the whole way home. It was way good!! He told me of a couple times when he ran out of gas at certain places that we were driving past. And I told him my theory about my gram dying. He talked to my mom about Eddie buying an atv.

My mom drove into his driveway to drop him off so like I couldn’t give him a hug in the car. But I told him if he’s bored tomorrow, he could come over and we could hang out and he said he might just do that so that made me happy. So, I got home and called Rhonda. I talked to her for like two hours about the party and the ride back. I went to bed at 10, woke up at 7 or 8 in the morning. Took a shower, ate breakfast, and went outside with my rollerblades on. 😊 Not the best idea with ice on the ground, Eddie and I traded shoes and then I called Aaron, asked him if he wanted to come out and he did. We talked for about 20 minutes about random things. Then he got cold, so he went inside to get some food and said he’ll be back out in a little bit. So, me and Eddie went inside and played a game of cribbage. Then pretty much just packed up and went back home. I had a really good weekend 😊 Oh and I found out his birthday is the same as my cousin Phoebe’s! haha!

Present day me: This was a really fun time in my life. I was enjoying time with my friends, coming up with numerous inside jokes, especially with Rhonda. Aaron was along for the ride with us during that party. I’m happy that he decided to go, and I was able to get a little more time with him. We were getting more comfortable with each other and I was learning how to talk to a guy around my age. I also remember my mom being really respectful when we were all in the van together. She was quiet and only spoke when one of us said something to her. I’m thankful for those times that she was a helper for me.
